As cleansing drink: Mix 1 Tbsp. VCO and 1 tsp. Bragg’s apple cider vinegar with 1 cup water. You can add honey. Take once a day, preferably in the early morning as soon as you wake up.
As cooking oil: Use Virgin coconut oil instead of other oils; it is resistant to high heat. For sautéing: VCO will give your vegetable or meat dish the effect of using cornstarch to thicken the sauce. If you choose not to heat up the coconut oil in sautéing dishes: our tip is to boil about a cup of water, add garlic and onions, then your other ingredients. When cooked, turn off the heat and just add the coconut oil at the end to give it a great flavor.
As salad oil: Just add balsamic vinegar, honey and your favorite herbs and spices to make a great salad dressing!
As food flavor: Mix one or two tablespoons of VCO with oatmeal or porridge.
As hair conditioner: Warm coco oil and massage onto scalp and hair. Leave on for a few minutes, then shampoo and rinse very well.
As skin moisturizer: After you shower, lightly pat your skin with a towel, leaving your skin damp. Gently rub coconut oil on your body, hands and feet.
For controlling weight: take virgin coconut oil 30 minutes before meals
As treatment for constipation: take VCO before bedtime
